Triathlon contests will take place in Andorra (Pyrenees) from 22d to 24th July 2016. The competition will be presented in 3 disciplines: swimming, cycling and running. During the first stage the participants will have to cross 2 laps of 500 m in the lake of Engolasters (altitude 1,616 m above sea level). The water temperature at this time of the year is about 14 degrees, the presence of the wet suit is obligatory.
During the second phase the participants have to overcome a 36 km cycling route “La Comella de la Rabassa“. The average angle of the slope of the track in the area of La Rabassa is 6.2%. Positive hight difference: 1300 m.
Third phase – the athletes run 9 km at an altitude of 2000 m (Park Naturlandia). Positive hight difference: 300 m.
The participation fee is 37 € (if registered before July 1), 40 euros – if registered after 1st July.
