Toulouse-Matabiau is a railway station on the Bordeaux-Saint-Jean to Sète-Ville, Toulouse to Bayonne and Brive-la-Gaillarde to Toulouse-Matabiau via Capdenac lines. It is located close to the city center of Toulouse, capital of the Haute-Garonne department and Occitania region (France).
It is the hub of the Toulouse rail network. In addition, the nearby bus station provides connections to numerous coach lines.
Its passenger building has been listed as a historic monument since December 28, 1984.
Toulouse-Matabiau is situated at the heart of a six-branch star network of lines with both regional (TER) and national (TGV and Corail) services.

Several SNCF facilities are present near the station, including the old Toulouse-Raynal goods yard now a carriage and engine maintenance yard and the large Saint-Jory marshalling yard 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) to the north.

The Toulouse bus station or gare routière Toulouse-Pierre-Semard borders the railway station. It is the main terminus for many regional, national and international coach lines (including Andorra).
