The tower-castle de los Señores

The tower-castle de los Señores is located in the Godojos town, Aragon (Spain).

There is evidence of the existence of a fortress in Godojos in 1278 when Pedro III of Aragon entrusted its defense to Lorenzo Martínez de Artieda. At the end of the 13th century, it belonged to the Heredia family estate and at that time the strong stately tower that has survived to this day was built on the remains of the pre-existing fortification and of which the fence that surrounds the castle has remained.
