The Swiftair company tests take off and landing of planes at the airport Andorra (Pyrenees) – La Seu d’Urgell (Spain, Catalonia) to start carrying out commercial flights to Madrid and Palma de Mallorca since 18 July, 2015. The Regina travel agency is engaged in the organization of flights. It coordinates a question of implementation of air tickets on flights which will be performed every Saturday from July 18 to August 8.
It is known that the following commercial flights are planned for this period: Madrid – la Seu-d’Urgell (departure at 10-00, arrival at 11.30); la Seu-d’Urgell – Palma de Mallorca (departure at 13.40, arrival at 14.25), the return flight Palma de Mallorca – la Seu-d’Urgell (departure at 15.40, arrival at 16.30) and the return flight of la – Seu – d’Urgell – Madrid (a departure at 18.00, arrival at 19.30).
Flights will be carried out the ATR72-500 planes, capacity of 50 people.
The airport is completely ready for service of commercial flights since January, 2015 – all necessary works on transformation of private airfield to the public commercial were complete by this time. Management and operation of the airport is carried out by air traffic navigation controllers of the airports of Catalonia.
