The Spanish Huracan 125 from 1958
Huracan was a Catalan brand of motorcycles and motorcars, manufactured by the company Huracan Motors S.A.in Barcelona, Spain. between 1955 and 1965 (other sources mention 1956 as the year of its foundation).
The Huracan motorcycles were equipped with Hispano Villiers 125, 197 and 250 cc engines and stood out for their beautiful lines.2
The company, founded by José María Duran Balet, began in a store in Barcelona’s Poblenou and moved in October 1958 to some warehouses on Calle Almogávares (specifically, at number 122).
During the years in which it was active, Huracan manufactured more than 2,000 units of vehicles.
