Andorra (Pyrenees) was disappointed not reaching its target despite the increase of arrivals. According to the Minister of Tourism, Francesc Camp, 1.1% more tourists arrived, which gives us a figure of 1,435,339 during the 2017-2018 winter. However, the expected goal was a growth of 2% which was not achieved. “We would have liked to arrive at 2% but we cannot complain”.
The minister attributed the situation to bad weather conditions and also to the fact that it is time to “start thinking about more moderate growth”.
He assured that previous growths of 4 or 5% “can not last”.
