The Minister of Education of Andorra (Pyrenees), Ester Vilarrubla, met on Tuesday, in Madrid (Spain), with the Spanish Minister of Education and Professional Training, Isabel Celaá, and with the Spanish Secretary of State for Education, Alejandro Tiana.

The meeting between both ministers has served to further strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two countries, especially in the educational sphere.

Vilarrubla also stressed to his counterpart the importance of the presence of the Spanish educational system in Andorra, which enriches and contributes to the educational structure of the Principality. During its stay in Madrid, the Andorran delegation, headed by the Minister, also participated in the Mixed Hispano-Andorran Commission on educational matters. In the meeting, the various challenges in the field of education and higher education shared by both countries have been addressed.

Among other issues, the importance of driving multilingual abilities, which can help the students face future challenges, has been highlighted.
