The highest golf course in Europe – Golf Soldeu – celebrated its 10th anniversary

The highest golf course in Europe – Golf Soldeu in Grandvalira (Andorra (Pyrenees)) – celebrated its 10th anniversary.

The site is located at an altitude of 2250 meters above sea level. The area of the course is 16 hectares. The Golf Soldeu Club was opened in 2008, and one year later the first tournaments were organized there.

The main clients of the club are residents of Andorra, France, Spain, Great Britain and Holland.

The creator of the project is Jeremy Pern, one of the world’s best experts in the construction of golf courses. He is a member of the British Institute of Golf Course Architects (BIGCA), the French Association of Golf Course Architects (AFAG) and the European Society of Golf Course Architects (ESGA). Jeremy Pern is the creator of many other golf course construction projects in the UK, France, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Morocco and Iran.

Golf Soldeu has a number of professional monitors, experienced in teaching both beginners and more experienced players.

Visitors of the club can rent any equipment that may need once at the course.
