The Guide to good practices for events is published

The Minister of the Environment, Agriculture and Sustainability of Andorra (Pyrenees), Silvia Calvó, informed the Government of Andorra about the dissemination of the “Guide to good practices for events”.

This publication includes guidelines regarding industrial safety and the environment with the aim of scheduling events, adapting them to current regulations and giving recommendations for international regulations.

The guide is a document aimed at promoters and organizers of events, whether public or private, with the purpose of making recommendations and complying with all regulatory administrative requirements in order to prevent risks and damages and to minimize the effects on the environment. This guide can be consulted from today in electronic format on the web page of the environment: mediambient.ad/guia-de-bones-practiques-for-a-ventos.

The guide affects events out or indoors, temporarily or sporadically, and of a cultural, sporting, leisure or similar nature, that do not involve the creation of a commerce. The document drawn up, has a preventative and informative approach with the regulatory requirements and recommendations for organizing safe events. Specifically, it provides for risks related to industrial safety, the prevention and limitation of risks, as well as the protection against accidents and accidents that could harm people or property.

In this way, the publication contains the recommendations and regulatory requirements in the field of fire safety, gas installations, pressure equipment, design, installation and use of games and attractions, electrical installations and hydrocarbon facilities.

Finally, the guide collects environmental recommendations for the organization of events, in relation to waste management, wastewater management, the prevention of noise and air pollution, energy and water and the promotion of renewable energy sources.
