The Government of Andorra, via the Ministry of Environment, Agriculture and Sustainability, and Forces Elèctriques d’Andorra will present actions to combat climate change at a stand at the Andorra la Vella Fair, on the 26th, 27th and 28th of October, in Andorra (Pyrenees).
In order to bring the effects of climate change closer to the citizens and the measures that can be taken to face them, the Ministry of Environment, Agriculture and Sustainability and FEDA have prepared a stand with useful information for citizens. In addition, when choosing materials for the booth the aim was to use those that are recyclable, therefore, once the Fair is over, most of the material will be reused and what cannot be, recycled.
In the space, visitors can take an interactive tour in which they will find information about the impacts of climate change in Andorra, energy saving and efficiency, and sustainable energy sources.
Specifically, the stand will inform its viewers about the cause and sources of greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change and the main historical landmarks in the world and in Andorra. In addition, in relation to energy saving and efficiency, there will be detailed plans and programs for grants for rehabilitation of the real estate park (Renova), for the promotion of sustainable mobility (Engega and Feda Soluciones ) and the implementation of the shared public bicycle service, Cicland.
FEDA will also exhibit their new products and services promoted through Feda Soluciones and Feda Ecoterm at the fair, in order to improve the quality of life and at the same time to be more environmentally-friendly.
Finally, during the days of the fair, raffle tickets will be sold between the visitors six annual Cicland tickets (two each day) and an electric bicycle, Sunday at 7 pm.
