The Government approves new subsidy for the production of controlled quality products

The Council of Ministers of Andorra (Pyrenees) approved, at the proposal of the Minister of Environment, Agriculture and Sustainability, Silvia Calvó, the aid for the promotion of the production of controlled quality meat products from beef, poultry, lamb and goat, slaughtered between July 1, 2019, and September 30, 2019.

The subsidy has totalled to 61,340 euros.

Andorran livestock farmers at the moment are the only association authorized by the Department of Agriculture to use the official stamp of control and guarantee ‘Quality controlled Meat from Andorra’ for the commercialization of meat. This subsidy extends the support given to the production of quality meat in the country.
