The European Commissioner for human rights of the Council of Europe Nils Muižnieks is on an official visit to Andorra. The purpose of his visit – monitoring and assessment of the situation in the Principality in the areas of the rights of women and children. In the framework of the visit to Andorra he meets the Prime Minister of Andorra Antoni Marti to discuss education and the promotion of human rights in Andorra, the press department of the government of Andorra informs.
The delegation headed by the European Commissioner will also meet with the Ministers of the Ministry of internal Affairs, the Ministry of foreign Affairs and the Ministry of education. In addition, they will visit schools and penal institutions of Andorra.
