The eighth edition of the Kilian’s trail running brought together more than 1,200 runners over two days

The eighth edition of the Kilian’s trail running took place on July 7th and 8th in Font Romeu (France).

Four courses have gathered about 1200 runners over two days. Everyone was able to appreciate the nature and share his passion for trail running.

This year, new courses were designed, including the distance “Carlit Marathon Queen” which proposed a splendid race up to 2921 meters of altitude in the heart of the massive lake of the summit of the Catalan Pyrenees.

Next year the Kilian’s trail running will take place on July 6th and 7th.

The competition is named after Killian Jornet – professional trail runner, mountaineer and long distance runner, who holds the fastest time for climbing and descending the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc, Denali and Everest. He studied at STAPS (Font-Romeu).
