The Government of Andorra has approved today the need for a national public tender for the replacement of cabins at the border point with Spain (Catalonia) of the Runer River in San Julia de Loria parish to improve their technical qualities and, at the same time, the image of entry to the country.
In this regard, the new houses will provide improvements in terms of thermal and acoustic insulation and thus benefit the work of the personnel assigned in this area. The new spaces will have a design similar to those of the Spanish part, which was renewed last year, given the agreement adopted between Andorra (Pyrenees) and Spain to maintain the same image at this border point.
In parallel, the exterior lighting undercover, and the new electrical, telephone and computer connections, will be installed.
