The Government of Andorra has approved the introduction of the Science Education degree at the University of Andorra. This new syllabus is part of the 2017-2019 program of the Government of Andorra (Pyrenees) and the University of Andorra.
The syllabus combines the methodology used in the Andorran School and the University of Andorra, which prioritizes the teaching of competency skills and is student-centered. One of the objectives is to strengthen the graduates’ linguistic abilities by carrying out the academic syllabus in different languages.
During the program, students will be able to realize different formative stays thus complementing the theory and the practice. This syllabus has also been worked out with collaboration from the Council of Europe, ensuring that the teachers can transmit to their future students the skills needed in order to be a democratic citizenship – values that this institution promotes.
The new bachelor’s degree in Science Education will be available at the University of Andorra for the 2018-2019 academic year.
