The Government of Andorra approved a total of 850 immigration permits from November 2018 to April 2019 and 4,033 seasonal workers for the coming winter period yesterday. This number of authorization permits has been set according to the labor market and the available vacancies that are increasing and are well above the number of registered job-seekers in the country.
Seasonal jobs mainly concern the hotel sector of Andorra (Pyrenees) (2,100 authorizations), then ski slope staff (969), hotels at resorts (474), travel agencies (65), ski equipment rental (245), trade (110) and cleaning services (70). The other sectors of activity will mainly welcome extra-community workers (2,314), followed by community workers (1,539) and cross-border workers (180).
