The company with 100% Andorran capital, La societat Juegos SA, Andorra (Pyrenees), won a tender for the implementation of the casino project in the Principality. This decision was made by the Government of Andorra and its commission after four months of studying the proposals of the candidates.
In total, 9 proposals were submitted from business groups. Among other candidates were Genting U.K. (a company with British capital), Spanish Cirsa, Mercury (Russia), Austrian casinos, Cierco group, and French groups Barrière, Partouche, Raineau and PVG.
A new four-story building with two floors of underground parking in Andorra la Vella with a total area of 4000 square meters will be built for the casino. The volume of investments will amount up to 14.7 million euros. In addition to game rooms, an exhibition hall and special rooms for smokers will be available.
As partners of Juegos SA, there are businessmen Ventura Espot, former consul of Ordino, Gilbert Montané, Enric Pujal, president of ACA and Marc Martos, director of Bingo Star’s.
