The best accordions of the world: history, production, brands
The accordion is a beautiful and elegant musical instrument. It is able to convey the entire palette of human emotions: from deep sadness to unbridled joy. Its notes can sound like an organ or even an entire orchestra. The presence of registers that change the timbre gives the accordion the opportunity to imitate the sound of various instruments.
The sounds an accordion produces are created by the free oscillation of metal tongues under the influence of the air jet which is formed when the fur chamber moves. The presence of this chamber is the most valuable quality of an accordion, with its help you can control and influence the tone color, make the sound soft, transparent or, on the contrary, hard and coarse.
The instrument has extraordinary dynamic flexibility – from the gentlest piano to a shrill forte.

Soprani – brand history
In 1863, the pilgrim (returning from the sanctuary of Loreto at night) asked to stay overnight on a farm in the countryside of Castelfidardo. He had an elementary “music box” with him that made different sounds. Antonio and Lucia Soprani lived on a farm with their children. Among them, Paolo, the most gifted and talented in music, was particularly impressed with this special box, which very much resembled the current “accordion”.
Thanks to this occasion, the Italian accordion industry originated in Castelfidardo.
