The 8th edition of the Andorra (Pyrenees) Ultra Trail Vallnord will this year be held in July.
The Andorra Ultra Trail Vallnord will show you the Principality from the highest peaks with routes crossing the Nature Parks of the Comapedrosa Valleys, the Sorteny Valley and the Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley, UNESCO World Heritage of Mankind, – said on an official web page of the competition.
Every year the organisation of the AUTV makes changes to improve the experience of the runners from all around the world who make their dream come true: to experience the magic of the mountains at altitudes of around 3,000 metres in all of their grandeur.
From Ordino, the centre of the competition, the Andorra Ultra Trail Vallnord maintains the five trials that have successfully placed it on the international Ultra Trail circuit:
‘Ronda dels Cims’ (170 km, with an accumulated height difference of 13,500 m); ‘Mític’ (112 km, with an accumulated height difference of 9,700 m); ‘Celestrail’ (83 km, with an accumulated height difference of 5,000 m); ‘Marató dels cims’ (42.5 km, with an accumulated height difference of 3,000 m), and the ‘Solidaritrail’ (10 km, with an accumulated height difference of 750 m).
