The 29th edition of Business Meeting of the Pyrenees will be organized on 14th and 15th June at la Seu d’Urgell. It is called “Leading sustainable growth”. Josep Borrell, former President of the European Parliament, is invited as a main speaker of the conference.
The event will focus on the future challenges faced by the European Union and the technological revolution. It was explained by the president of the Business Meeting of the Pyrenees, Vicenç Voltes, and the general director of Crèdit Andorrà, Xavier Cornella (they have signed a new collaboration agreement for the next three editions with the aim of promoting dialogue and economic relations between Andorra and the area of Lleida and the Pyrenees).
The discussion will include questions such as the departure of the UK from the EU and the refugee crisis.
Regarding the participation in the meeting, the organizers hope to attract at least 600 people, the same figure recorded in the previous edition (about 20% are Andorran residents).
Anoni Martí, the head of Andorran government, will take part in the event.
