Summer activities 2017 in Madriu-Perafita-Claror
10th June 2017: Ethnobotany Workshop
In the morning, we will do an excursion at the Madriu-Perafita-Claror, and in the afternoon we will learn how to develop remedies as traditional methodologies (poultices, teas, decoctions , etc.).
09:30 Excursion to the VMPC. (Starting point: Camí de la muntanya, at the height of la Plana road)
16:00 Workshop at the Portal de la Vall.

11th June 2017: Race St. Bernabé.
This is a traditional race: the inhabitants of Andorra la Vella and Sant Julià de Lòria use to race till the Claror orry, and the first to arrive would be granted with the use of the land. This race was restored last year by the Comú d’Andorra la Vella, that organises this year again.

4th July 2017: Outdoor drawing & painting Workshop.
Indulge in the magic of drawing or painting outdoors in natural light. From 16.00 to 18.00, we will be at the Sassanat Bridge, we will be enjoying the fresh air as we capture the Madriu-Perafita-Claror landscape.
Children and adults welcomed, mixed media techniques.

11th July 2017: Night Photography Workshop at Pessons.
Let’s meet up at 20:30 in the car park of Grau Roig, where a 4×4 will take us up to the restaurant of Pessons. Once there, we will be tought how to photograph in dark landscapes.
Approximate length of the workshop: 3 hours.

15th July 2017: Orienteering race in the VMPC.
Come and join us in this fun activity! We have designed a circuit for children and one for adults.
We will meet up at 09:30 for a briefing at the information point of the circuit de les Fonts.
At 09:45 will start the difficult circuit for adult, and at 09:55 the easy one.
At 12:30 will start the circuit for children.

Price: € 5 for children (under 8 years) and € 8 for adults (over nine years). Those under 14 must be accompanied by an adult, and 15 to 18 must bring a signed authorization.

Price: € 13.5 per person.
1st July: Day of Madriu-Perafita-Claror. Half day tour
Itinerary: 9:30 Pont de la Plana → Ràmio → 13:00 Pont de la Plana
This tour is free as we commemorate the 13th anniversary of the Valley as a World Heritage site.
5th August: half day tour
Itinerary: 9:30 Circuit de les Fonts → Ràmio → Circuit de les Fonts
Price: € 13.5 per person.
2nd September: all day tour
Itinerary: 9:30 Circuit de les Fonts → Fontverd (or Estall Serrer, dependinf on the pace of the group) → 17:50 Pont de la Plana
The link between the Pont de la Plana and Circuit de les Fonts parking lot circuit can be made with the bus Engolasters (€ 1.20)
Price: 19 € per person.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
For all tours in the Valley, it is recommended to bring suitable clothing and footwear for walking in the mountains, food and drink, and sun protection. It is also recommended to carry a camera and binoculars.
The level of difficulty of the walks is low, but you should take into account the drop.
Not recommended for children under 8 years.
