Soriano was a Spanish motorcycle brand, created by Ricardo Soriano and active in Madrid, between 1941 and 1954, although production was concentrated between 1942 and 1952.

Ricardo Soriano Scholtz von Hermensdorff, Marquis of Ivanrey, engineer, athlete and designer, is also known for having founded, together with José Luis Pedroso, the Soriano-Pedroso automobile brand, produced in France in the 1920s.

After the Spanish Civil War ended, Ricardo Soriano returned to reside in Spain, and in 1941 he founded the company R. Soriano S.A. in Madrid for the manufacture of motorcycles, including scooters, and also derivatives such as motorcycles or cargo tricycles.

In 1954, after having started manufacturing the first Spanish scooter two years earlier in association with the Navarre industrialist Félix Huarte, R Soriano SA ceased its activities.
