The Government of Andorra announces a tender for the provision of services for electric bicycle using in Andorra (Pyrenees). The deadline for submitting documents is 12th July, 2017. Services that are specified in the tender include the supply and maintenance of electric bicycle recharging systems. The cost of recharging services should not exceed 0.50 euros for 30 minutes.
The launch of electric bicycles using is part of government policies aimed at combating air pollution, climate change and noise pollution. As part of the government’s overall strategy, in September 2016, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Government of Andorra and the Andorran automobile club in order to encourage the use of electric bicycles in the country.
