Russian Academic Youth Theater in Moscow

The Russian Academic Youth Theater of the Order of Lenin (RAMT) is a federal state budgetary cultural institution in the field of dramatic theatrical art for children and youth in Moscow. Founded in 1921 as the Moscow Theater for Children. In 1936 it was renamed into the “Central Children’s Theatre”. In 1987 it received the title of “academic”. Since 1992 – “Russian Academic Youth Theatre”.

The theater building is an object of cultural heritage of Russia of federal significance.
