River Palace hotel in St. Petersburg

River Palace 4-star hotel is located in a historic building – the House of Petrov-Markova, St. Petersburg. Initially, in the middle of the 19th century, a two-story residential house made of stone was erected, owned by the merchant Ippolitov.

In 1910, the building passed to the construction contractor Petrov, who demolished the old building and erected a 6-storey building with a courtyard. The last owner was Mrs. Markova. Until the 60s of the 20th century, the building was used as a residential building.

The hotel is included in the top 10 best hotels in St. Petersburg, consists of 214 rooms that belong to 4 categories: deluxe, junior suite, suite and studio. The bedroom has air conditioning, LCD TV with cable channels, mini-fridge, electric kettle, hairdryer, slippers, bathrobe, mini-bar, free Wi-Fi.

Most rooms have windows overlooking the embankment. Due to the fact that the building was re-erected in the early 2000s, the doors and windows in it were installed taking into account modern requirements for sound and heat insulation.
