President Hotel

The President Hotel is one of the largest hotels in Moscow, located on Bolshaya Yakimanka Street. It is part of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Hotel complex” President-Hotel of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation. Built in the early 1980s, it opened in 1983 under the name “Oktyabrskaya”. It was intended to ensure the foreign policy activities of the leadership of the Central Committee of the CPSU and the highest bodies of state power.

The hotel building was designed in 1982-1983 on the territory of the former Golutvinskaya settlement, according to the project of architects D. I. Burdin, V. G. Talkovsky, and I. A. Dyachenko.

The hotel has 204 rooms of various categories (standard, deluxe, junior suite and suite). There are two restaurants, a lobby bar, a health center, a first-aid post, and a dentist.

The hotel building is traditionally a venue for heads of state and government meetings, international forums, congresses, conferences and other events. The hotel has 16 halls of various capacities (10 to 500 people) for events.

From the upper floors, the hotel offers a panoramic view of the central part of the city.
