Presentation of the cooking book “Fogons de salut” by Carles Flinch Font, chef of Can Manel restaurant, and Marta Pons, a nutritionist at the center of Dietetics d’Andorra, with 40 delicious and healthy typical Andorran recipes.
The event was organized at a unique four-story bookshop in the heart of the old part of the city of Andorra la Vella, la Puça (translated as a “Flea”).
“Eat well and properly. Food nourishes the body, mind and feelings”, the preface of the book says.
Within two hours, the authors of the book “Fogons de salut” handed out autographs and answered the questions of healthy food lovers.
Since most of the guests were the authors’s friends and admirers of their culinary talents, each autograph was supplemented with several personal words and wishes.
Simple pleasures. Homemade snacks from local products are an integral part of the book’s recipes.
The recipe book is written very easily. Desserts are given special attention.
Watermelon marmalade. It’s perfect!
Homemade donuts are also good for healthy.
