The Model Q made its public debut at the Madison Square Garden in New York City, where it was driven by famous aviatrix Amelia Earhart in the motorcade. It was very inexpensive in response to the difficulties of the Great Depression, with the cheapest option being offered for about US$670 (about $8911 in 2012 dollars).

The car was offered as a four-door tourer, two-door sedan, four-door sedan, two-door coupe, and two-door roadster coupe. It was fitted with a 2791cc four-cylinder side-valve engine capable of generating 45 bhp (33 kW) of output. This rear-wheel drive vehicle featured three-speed transmission and hydraulic brakes in all four wheels. It measured about 4293 mm long and weighed between 1001 and 1137 kg.
