FESTIVAL OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ANDORRA LA VELLA Friday 2nd – Saturday, 3rd June in Parc Central, Andorra la Vella. (Free Aimed at young people aged 12 – 30. Alcohol-free) FRIDAY: 20h at La Central, Parc Central, Andorra la Vella. (Free) ANDplificador. Food – Drink & Music. Discover the local music scene while having a bite to eat. There will be performances by JAZZY, RAPTILIAN and FREIJA, with special participation by PUNKERS LOVE THE 80S and EL ROC COR DE ROCK D’ENCAMP.
SATURDAY: 11.30 – 14h at the Rotonda a 3×3 basket ball tournament. 16h in Parc Central a table tennis tournament. Game 1: Let’s go with Water. Organised by the Red Cross, learn all about water consumption and contamination. Game 2 Alcohol + Driving = Bad news. Just Dance to the latest hits. Discover flag/tag Rugby. 17.15 Performance by the Dance Class of Andorra la Vella. Concerts de Rap, and exhibitions of graffiti with Syndrome de Sherwood. 17.30 Battle of Rap (inscription at La Central from 29th May) From 20.30 – 1h in the marquee in Parc Central with Flaix FM: Move yourselves to the music of the young DJs: Jexthrill – Germi – DJA.A.C. plus dancers: Trinity Company, T.A. Pantha, Miss Lima.
Saturday, 3rd June starting at 11h at the Cami de les Padrines, Encamp. (Free) The Day of our Lady of Ecology. The day starts at 11am with a prayer to Our Lady followed by the traditional singing of gojos or songs of praise and an offering of flowers. The day ends with sardana dancing and a breakfast based on coca sweet cake and chocolate. The Comú will lay on a bus for citizens which will take them up to the Cortals of Encamp.

Directed by Joachim Rønning & Espen Sandberg Starring: Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Javier Bardem. The Story: Thrust into an all-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Capt. Wednesday, 31st May at 21.30 at the Cine Club de les Valls, Teatre Comunal, Andora la Vella. (5€ or 3€ with carnet jove, targa magna and members of the CCV. In Spanish.) María (y los demàs) Directed by Nely Reguer and starring Bárbara Lennie. The Story: Ever since the death of her mother when she was 15, María has looked after her father and her brothers. Responsible and controlling, she had always been the pillar of the family and proud of it. But when her father fell in love with his sympathetic nurse and announced their imminent marriage, María felt her world collapse. 35 years old and with no boyfriend in sight, she decides it’s time to change her destiny. Winner of the Goya 2016 prize for best new director and best actress and the Feroz 2016 prize for best actress.
Saturday, 3rd June from 10h – 14h Plaça Sant Miquel, Encamp. Market Saturdays. Once again the shopkeepers of Encamp will be laying out their wares every Saturday until the cold weather returns. A very jolly looking affair, each week there will be different activities such as botifarrades sausage barbeques, art exhibitions, face painting for the little ones and music.
