2018 Season at the National Auditorium, ORDINO: ANTONIO CARMONA Friday, 23rd March at 21.30h Obres Son Amores (Works are loves) (Tickets 25€ from Illa Carlemany.) Icon of the New Flamenco and connoisseur of the most orthodox, Antonio Carmona is one of the most passionate artists to be seen on stage today. He is considered a performer of the first magnitude by artists from both Spain and Latin America and this year, in a tribute to his father, Carmona published ‘Obras son amores’. It increases his sphere of influence in a career which has also included the world of cinema and as chief vocalist in the historic Ketama band. It will be a night of memories, passions, hopes and pains. Art in a pure state.

Tomb Raider Monday 19th to Wednesday, 21st March at 19.45 at the Cinemes Illa Carlemany, Escaldes-Engordany. Directed by Roar Uthaug. Starring: Alicia Vikander, Dominic West, Walton Goggins. The Story: Lara Croft is the fiercely independent daughter of an eccentric adventurer who vanished when she was scarcely a teen. Determined to forge her own path, she refuses to take the reins of her father’s global empire just as staunchly as she rejects the idea that he’s truly gone. Going explicitly against his final wishes, she leaves everything she knows behind in search of her dad’s last-known destination: a fabled tomb on a mythical island that might be somewhere off the coast of Japan.

Collectors Fair and Exhibition of Playmobil. Saturday 24th – Saturday, 31st March at the Sala Sant Doménec and Centre Cívic El Passeig, La Seu d’Urgell, SPAIN. Exhibition of large Playmobil layouts, creative workshops, inflatables, educational games, a route of shop windows with Playmobil displays. The Exhibition is from 24th – 31st March and is open as below for the Fair, plus on the 26th – 29th March from 16h – 20h. The Fair is on Saturday 24th & Sunday, 25th March and then Friday 30th & Saturday, 31st March. It is open from 10h – 14h and from 16h – 20h.
SPORT
Total Fight Masters of Freestyle Wednesday 21st to Saturday, 24th March at Grandvalira’s, Snowpark, El Tarter. The 14th edition of the Total Fight Masters of Freestyle skiing. The world’s top riders of freestyle, men and women, on snowboards or skis. As in previous editions, the Snowpark’s installations will be pushed to the limit as the performers try to perfect impossible stunts. The snowboarding trials are held in the Freestyle speciality’s highest category, the ELITE, of which only seven competitions are celebrated around the world. This year a new, feminine, category will be included. Fans can enjoy the stunts of the best riders on the international scene. Regarding the Freeski, the trials will be disputed in the GOLD category, a reference within the global calendar in the slopestyle discipline and will be attended by great specialists in both categories. And, like every year, to close the week, after the awards ceremony there will be the Total Fight Party at the Abarset Restaurant.
