Photo exhibition “Madriu 8.8” opens on 24th January 24 at 20:00 in the exhibition hall ARTALROC in Escaldes-Engordany, Andorra (Pyrenees).
The exhibition is dedicated to the Andorra valley Madriu-Perafita-Claror. The area of the valley is about 9% of the territory of Andorra and it is included at UNESCO World Heritage Site in the category of “cultural landscape”.
The exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of Andorra.
The exhibition will present 40 black and white images made by photographers Jaume Riba and Àlex Tena, taken both during the day and at night in the most secret corners of one of the most beautiful valleys in the world. Visitors will also be invited to see the documentary, which was filmed in 2014.
