Philippe Shangti’s art exhibition “The Future is Now” (“El futur és ara”) opens in Venice. This artist will represent Andorra (Pyrenees) at the Venice Art Biennale, which officially opens on May 11th (58th edition).

The theme of Philip Shangti’s exhibition is formulated as a “fragmentary setting for criticizing the consequences of excessive consumption of the collective consciousness”. He has produced works with saturated and bright colors with perfect and pure forms as if looking for protest and provocation.

Philip Shanti boldly portrays superficiality, bringing this style of pop art closer to modern aesthetics.

Philippe Shangti is a multidisciplinary French contemporary artist. Born in 1983 in Toulouse (Occitania, France), he studied in this city then he moved to Saint-Tropez (French Riviera) at the beginnings of the 2000s. He became known by exhibiting his art on the walls of trendy restaurants. Ten years later, he moved to the Principality of Andorra.

From his beginnings, the artist publishes regularly new collections. Centered on a specific theme, he always denounces different problems affecting society. In 2013, his photographic collection “Art vs. Drugs” launches his career. His works are exhibited in about galleries around the world and in collectors’ homes.
