On Sunday, August 26th, a national dance competition Ball Cerdà will take place in Catalonia

On Sunday, August 26th, a national dance competition Ball Cerdà will take place in Catalonia (la Seu d’Urgell). This dance is an element of the cultural heritage of Catalonia. It is timed to celebrate la Seu d’Urgell city day. The dance will be performed in the central square of the city – Plaça Patalín.

The dance will be performed in three stages, depending on the age of the dancers. Children under 8 years old will dance from 6 pm to 7 pm, children from 9 to 15 years old – from 19.00 to 20.00, youth from 16 years – from 20.00 to 21.00.

105 pairs are expected to participate.
