On August 25th the cycling race “Vuelta a España” will start in Malaga (Andalusia, Spain). Cyclists will have to come 3270 km in total during the race. On September 16th the competition will come to an end in Madrid.
The sportsmen will compete in an individual time trial (40.7 km). They also will have to cover 46 mountain passes with only two days of rest.
On September 14th and 15th, the nineteenth and twentieth stages of the race will take place in Andorra (Pyrenees) (there are 21 stages in total).
On Friday, September 14th, cyclists will finish the race in Naturlandia in San Julia de Loria (2000 m) after a 157 km ride from Lleida (Catalonia). On Saturday, September 15th, they will have a stage in Andorra: 105.8 km with a positive height difference of about 4,000 m. They will have to come up to Coll de la Comella and Coll de Beixalis twice, as well as to Coll d’Ordino and Coll de la Gallina. The finish line is going to be near the church of Canolich.
