On 2d June, the parish of Sant Julià de Lòria will host the 1st edition of cycling for young people

On 2d June, the parish of San Julia de LoriaAndorra (Pyrenees) will host the 1st edition of cycling for young people called Pedala’t Sant Julià de Lòria.

It is designed for the whole family and is divided into 4 main activities:

– An easy ride through the streets of the parish that is designed for all ages.

– A cycling tour aimed at people over 16 who have a certain level. There will be 2 routes depending on the difficulty, one of 2 hours of duration, and another one of 4 hours. The first one will leave from the square of the Germandat and will pass through Aixirivall, La Peguera, Juberri and end from where it started. Another one will do the same route also incorporating the climb to Coll de la Gallina by Fontaneda and the downhill will be by Canòlich.

– A BTT course for those over 14 who also have a good level since it’s a route with 2 levels of descent 4 hours long. Leaving the square of the Germandat it will pass through Arcavell, Naturlandia – La Rabassa and end up where the starting point is situated.

-A gymkhana for children from 6 to 15 years old and more popular in 5 areas established in the square of the Brotherhood.

All activities are free, just sign up half an hour before it begins. Registration also gives access to lunch, that will be made at the Reig Patrimonia car park (the price is 3 euro). In addition, the participants will receive different presents: a backpack, 2X1 tickets for Naturlandia, 2X1 in Mc Menús etc.

All activities will have the starting point and finish line at the Plaça de la Germandat where there will be activities and acts by the Agrupament Escolta i Guia Lauredià i Batukaseu.

Changing rooms and showers can be used at the Sports Center. There will also be bicycles available for those who do not have one.
