A “Cheese Day” with workshops and tasting is scheduled on 10th March at the Illa Carlemany shopping center, Escaldes-Engordany, Andorra (Pyrenees).

The event starts at 11:30 am on the first floor of the shopping center.

The event starts with a workshop for children “La Antigua Educa” – kids will learn how to make cheese. This workshop was developed by the General Fund of the University of Salamanca (SpainCastile and León) to transmit the culture of cheese production to the youngest generation. It has already succeeded in a hundred schools in Spain. The seminar will last until 12:30, the number of places is limited. Booking by phone: +376 804747.

At 13:00 the cheese tasting with Andrés Riestra chefs, Alma Gastronomia Restaurant, Rodrigo Martínez, Prestigi and Helio Flores Hotels, The culinary art Lab Los Alamos is planned.

A workshop for adults will begin at 18:00. They will be explained how to cut different types of cheeses, as the cutting method can affect the taste of cheeses. Preliminary registration is not required.

Cheese cocktail party is planned at 19:00 .

Business meetings of cheese producers and experts are also planned.
