The Government of Andorra has approved, this Wednesday, to amend the regulation that regulates the conditions for the public financing of high complexity medication in Andorra (Pyrenees).
The text is modified to introduce two types of medication that were only originally thought to be distributed to the hospital and that have been added so that they can be dispensed in pharmacies.
On the other hand, in the modification of the regulation a common clause in these regulations has been included to allow that at the time of granting the coverage of a treatment it can be done with a retroactivity of up to three months. This measure is intended to prevent the processing of the coverage from being harmful to the patient.
