A new global database management system for agricultural production will be implemented in Andorra

The Government of Andorra approved an international public tender for the right to introduce a new global data management system for agricultural production.

The proposal was made by Silvia Calvó, Minister of Environment, Agriculture and Sustainable Development. The new system will allow to group all information related to agricultural production and will allow sharing it with interested users.

The current database has been used since 2000 and does not allow the exchange of data, explains the government of Andorra (Pyrenees).

Among the information that will be included in the new system is all the necessary data from the farms, including the amount of agricultural machinery, livestock and health.

The decree, which will be published next week, provides for a deadline until the end of 2019.
