The National Heliport of Andorra (Pyrenees) will be built in the Tresoles area, in Encamp district, has reported at a press-conference today the Minister of the Territories of Andorra Jordi Torres. According to him, “this place is ideal from the point of view of logistics and urban point of view”.

As he previously reported, the project will be implemented in three phases: the plan for preparing the land for construction, urbanization of the terrain and the arrangement of the heliport’s infrastructure itself.

To select a contractor, the government of Andorra intends to hold a tender.

Competitors must meet the following professional requirements:

The deadline for submitting applications for participation in the competition is 8th May, 2017.

The consultant of the Andorran air transport service Guillem Santacreu has said, “the project must minimize the acoustic impact and keep the safety of flights as high as possible”.
