The motorcycle was designed in the office of Val Page, Herbert Parker and Munro. The model was the first bike with a two-cylinder engine and was ready for production in 1939. After the outbreak of the Second World War, production switched to the creation of new models for the needs of the army. The production of the model was restarted in 1948.
