Within the bounds of  the winter tour 2014-2015 “Moscow Ballet” will present its version of “Nutcracker” at the Congress Hall of Andorra la Vella on 25th November. The beginning of the performance is at 21.00, the length is 2 hours, the cost of the ticket—38 euro.

The classic ballet of such eminent ballet-masters and dance artists as Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov is filled with magic and the mysterious atmosphere of Hoffmann’s cognominal fairy tale. Combined with the music of Pyotr Tchaikovsky, this is a unique merge of musical and choreographic dramaturgy into organic whole. Irrespectable to the age of viewers, they are thrilled to see Mouse King every time he appears on the stage; the victory of good makes everyone to believe in miracles especially on the eve of long-awaited Christmas and New Year.

The troop of “Moscow Ballet” was gathered in 1989 and has deserved to be held in global esteem. For the time of its history, the troop gave more than thousands of performances and toured in more than 60 countries of the world, including such countries as Japan, England, Spain, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Thailand, etc. This year the troop will perform in Andorra for the first time.

The regisseur  is the founder of “Moscow Ballet”, choreographer Timur Fajziev. The main roles are performed by the soloists of the troop—Christina and Alexey Terentievs – a bright duet of National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Kishinev; they are the owners of manifold international awards. The repertoire of the ballet also includes such masterpieces of world’s classics as “Sleeping beauty”, “Swan Lake”, “Giselle”, “Don Quijote”, “Romeo and Juliette”, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and “Carmen”.
