Minister of public administration, transport and telecommunications of Andorra (Pyrenees) Jordi Alcobé has announced today the government’s intention to review by September 2017 the model of functioning of public transport in the Principality. Goal is to improve services of passengers, reports the Government of Andorra.

The government plans to announce the tender.

New bus routes will be grouped depending on the geographical location of regions. One of the new routes will span the Vall de la Gran Valira, the second – the Vall de Valira d’Orient), the third – Vall de la Valira del Nord.

One of the conditions of the tender is the obligatory use of energy-efficient buses, as well as providing a platform that allows to use e-tickets. It is also planned to launch online feedback with passengers to improve the level of service quality.

Applications for participation in the tender are accepted until August 23, 2016, the results will be announced at the end of September this year.
