MAZ-5340 is a family of fourth-generation Belarusian heavy-duty trucks produced at the Minsk Automobile Plant since 2002. The cars are successors to the family of the previous (third) generation MAZ-5337, are in many ways similar to them and are produced in parallel with them.

The MAZ-5340 model, along with the previous generation models MAZ-500, MAZ-5335, MAZ-5336 and MAZ-5337, is produced both as a chassis and as onboard tractors. Technically, it is possible to drive a vehicle complete with a trailer as a road train with a gross weight of up to 45 tons.
