Sant Vicenç d’Enclar (or Sant Vicenç de Montclar) is a fortified church located in the river basin of Enclar in the center of Santa Coloma d’Andorra (Andorra la Vella, Andorra). It was built most likely in the X century, as its style is similar to usual styles of Catalan and Languedoc architecture of X century and earlier centuries.
It was restored some years ago.
This place is quite popular among tourists and Andorran residents because of a beautiful view on the capital of Andorra and the neighboring little towns – Santa Coloma and Escaldes-Engordany.
It takes time and effort to get there as you can only go by foot. The route takes about 30-40 minutes. Sometimes you have not to walk, but to climb up.
There is an alternative – you can use a route of via ferrata. But in that case you need a special equipment.
