Les Angles with 55 km of ski slopes

Les Angles ski resort in the Pyrenees-Orientales was opened in 1964. It has managed to maintain its authentic character while meeting all the requirements of a modern ski resort. The resort can be called unique. It is located at the foot of a French ski village, cozy and inspired by the tradition of the Pyrenees region.

The ski area covers 55 km of slopes with an elevation difference of 800 m. The highest point is 2400 meters above sea level. The number of runs – 45: 14 green, 9 blue, 14 red and 8 black. Some trails run through the forest.

The snowpark is equipped with modern modules for freestyle lovers.
There are also trails for freeride fans (Costa Verde sector).

How to get there?

The station is located just a few kilometers from the Spanish border. The nearest major city is Perpignan, an hour’s drive away. The nearest airport is also in Perpignan. Other airports are Toulouse Blagnac and Carcassonne.

By train:
From Toulouse or Perpignan, take the regional train to Mont-Louis la Cabanasse station. There is a bus service from there to the ski village itself (must be reserved in advance).

By car:
From Perpignan via RN116, which goes all the way to the resort.

ENTERTAINMENT

Every Thursday at 20.00 – solemn torch descent, fireworks, mulled wine and hot chocolate.

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING

Route along Lake Balcere (Lac de Balcere): round trip – 5 km

ICE DIVING

Diving under the water of mountain lakes. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or an experienced diver! Diving under a layer of ice from 50 cm to 2 m in a fully waterproof wetsuit.
