Le Bourget on the Garonne River
Air show on the big screen
On Saturday, June 24, from 11 to 18 hours, the Salon Le Bourget will land on the Place de Gaulle in Toulouse. The event “Le Bourget on the River Garonne” is promoted by the City of Toulouse in cooperation with So Toulouse, Airbus, le Cnes, la Cité de l’espace and Aeroscopia. The event will allow to monitor on the big screen the demonstration of flights of the air show and will offer entertainment on aviation and space issues (simulator A380, airplane mockups, etc.).
“The annual show is now available in Toulouse. “This will allow all comers to get in touch with the rich history of French aviation, looking at the pages of our heritage, and also looking to the future of the European innovation center – Aerospace Toulouse, ” said Jean-Luc Moudenc, the mayor of Toulouse and President of Toulouse Métropole.
Toulouse – is the center of European airplane manufacturing. Airbus is based near Blagnac, Toulose.
