The Laundry Bridge – first three-span stone bridge in St. Petersburg

The Laundry Bridge is a road stone arched bridge across the Fontanka River in the Central District of St. Petersburg, connecting the Summer Garden (island) and the Nameless Islands.

One of the first stone bridges built in St. Petersburg. The first three-span stone bridge in the city. Built in 1769.

An object of cultural heritage of Russia of federal significance.

It connects the Kutuzov Embankment and the Palace Embankment at the source of the Fontanka river (at Neva river). Near the bridge are the Summer Garden and the Summer Palace of Peter I. Downstream is the Panteleymonovsky bridge.

The nearest metro stations is Gorkovskaya.
