Ladozhskaya metro station in St. Petersburg

Ladozhskaya is a station of the St. Petersburg Metro. It is located on the fourth (Lakhtinsko-Pravoberezhnaya) line between the Novocherkasskaya and Prospekt Bolshevikov stations.

The station was opened on December 30, 1985 as part of the section “Alexander Nevsky Square” – “Bolshevikov Prospekt”.

Located at the end of Zanevsky Prospekt near the Ladozhsky railway station.

Ladozhskaya is a single-vaulted deep-laid station (depth ≈ 61 m). Built according to the project of architect V. N. Esinovsky and engineer G. F. Proshina with the participation of S. N. Krivonosov, L. A. Filippova and Yu. A. Ryzhov (Lengiprotrans Institute). The thematic design of the station is dedicated to the Road of Life in besieged Leningrad.
