La Molina ski resort with 70 km of slopes

La Molina is a Catalan ski resort dedicated to winter sports, that started to operate its first commercial ski lift in 1943. In its history, it offered sports and fun activities for all audiences.

Most of its area is located in La Cerdanya, it has 70 skiable kilometers, spread across 66 slopes for all levels, a large snowpark and the largest super pipe in the Pyrenees. Additionally, it offers a large number of activities available also to the non-skier members of public, such as, snow grooming excursions on trekking machines, snowshoeing or segway on snow.

In addition, it has a long history of hosting international events, such as the Alpine Ski World Cup (2008), the Snowboard World Championships (2011) or the Alpine Skiing World Championships for the Disabled (2013). Therefore, it has a long history behind it and a bright future ahead.

How to get to La Molina

La Molina ski resort is located in La Cerdanya, a region of the Catalan Pyrenees, and has an optimum accessibility. Coordinates GPS: 42º 20 ‘03.90 “N • 1º 56’ 04.59” E

Bus access: La Molina has a daily Ski Bus service offered by Sagalés with stops in Granollers, Barcelona, Terrassa and Manresa. A return bus trip can be arranged together with a ski pass and insurance.

Access by train: during the winter season there is a regular daily bus transport from the train station, operating every 30 minutes during the week, (from 08:45 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., and 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 pm), and every 15 minutes on weekends and holidays, to the ski resort with on demand stops at the main hotels on the way to the station and official stop at the central offices of La Molina – Gondola lift area (Zona Telecabina) Alp 2500 and Long Track (Pista Llarga). From 10:00 am to 4:00 pm this service operates hourly from Pista Llarga, and every 1h15, from the train station.
