Irati is a cross-country ski resort located in the Atlantic Pyrenees in the New Aquitaine region.

At the top of the Montagne Basque, at an altitude of 1300 to 1500 meters above sea level, less than 2 hours from the ocean, you can enjoy all the pleasures of winter sports in the fresh air:

– Three cross-country skiing trails (blue, red and black) with a length of 26 km.
– Over 20 km of snowshoe trails

Weekends and school holidays: from 8.15 to 17.30.
On weekdays and outside school holidays: 8:15 am to 12:00 pm and 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Irati is also the starting point for many hiking trails.

On foot or on snowshoes, you can enjoy a one to four hour hike among nature and vast woodland.

A village of 35 wooden chalets and 3 guest houses awaits you on the edge of the largest beech forest in Europe: Irati Forest (17,000 ha between France and Spain).
